Marcel111
Here is my "D", which I finished in a huge hurry in order to enter into a competition. It's a little rough here and there and I won't be hurrying a build again. I am please with the result though, and even more pleased to move back to my F-14D now. Thanks for looking! Kagemusha
Utterly fantastic. All the best with the comp, though I'm sure all who see it will take great pleasure. Marcel111
Brett M
Very nice work. I'm not seeing the "rough" on my screen, definitely looks sharp to me. Brett Marcel111
chuck540z3
I don’t see anything “rough”. The painting and weathering looks perfect. Gorgeous Viper- The American flag is a nice touch, which no doubt came from a reference pic? Good luck on the Tomcat. I will be following closely. Cheers, Chuck Marcel111

Cheers, Chuck Thx Chuck... of course the exact size, location and folds of the flag are based on a reference pic :-) Actually, I wasn't happy with the join of the instrument coaming and didn't have the time to fill and sand, the flag was thus an emergency measure inspired by a F-35 pic I saw online a while back, where the entire instrument coaming was covered with the flag in flight during air-to-air refueling. That joint seems to be a troublesome area, at the competition there was another Academy F-16 with almost the exact same remedy.
