This is 1/32 Hasegawa P-40E Warhawk with the markings of “Stardust/Oklahoma Kid ET803” from 49FG 9FS flown by Andrew Reynolds  in Darwin Australia during 1942.

Years ago when I was a young man I saw the new 1/48 Promodeler P-40-E’s boxart and I decided to add "Stardust" on my P-40 bucket list.

In the end when DK decals released this warhawk's decals in 1/32 scale,  I started to built.

I have used Eduard set for instrument panel and seat belts.

Exhaust stacks are from Quickboost

Gunsight is from Master Model

Paints are Gunze Sangyo acrylics.

Absolutely beautyful!!! Great work! And i know what you‘re talking about..., I got the same feeling with the boxart of the old Revell P-40E in 1/32 scale, also with „Star Dust“ on it....!

great job, man....

Thanks.

Yes you are right. I remember it also. If I m not wrong it was released few years before the promodeler s kit.
