Compliments I can't stop thinking how huge that model is Is that an adult chair on the left of that picture? Wish I had the place to display it, I'd be all over this. Fortunately that chair on the left is a kids chair! However, she's still quite large. Wing span of a little over three feet. I have no idea where I'll store her. I had hopes of a glass top coffee table, but that might not be feasible right now. - Dennis S. Thornton, CO USA Dany Boy and nmayhew
Uncarina
Dennis, MAGNIFICENT! It has been a genuine pleasure to watch this inspiring build. I’ve learned a lot from it, and I hope to achieve a result half as good. One thing that no one can match: you’ve done your family heritage proud! Sincerely, Tom Edited September 25, 2019 by Uncarina Dennis7423

alain11
very very well done , it's a master piece , the NM finish is just as it must be , not too shiny , , and I like the white / red stripes on the vertical fin , really a nice tribute to your grandfather and his brothers in arms Alain Dennis7423

I scratch-built all the drive motors for the chin turret, parachute packs, some of the innards underneath the cockpit floor visible through the front crew hatch, and individual crew dinghy's. Nothing too crazy :-) - Dennis S. Thornton, CO USA philtn

I found that some trimming of the mating surfaces to reduce the size of the flanges did the trick there. She fit basically like a glove; just the typical filling and sanding and she blended right in without any issues. - Dennis S.
