Durangokid
I finally gave Tamiya's X-22 a try after hearing how nice it is from Chuck and other modelers. I wish I had tried it sooner as it fantastic and I think the best gloss coat I ever used. My only question is can I use a lacquer base flat coat over it? I normally use MRP's flat coat but I'm a bit worried it may react to the X-22. Does anyone have any experience with this? Thanks! Bryan
LSP_Kevin
Just go lightly with your top coats and you should be fine! Kev Durangokid

LSP_Kevin
Oh, the other thing I'd recommend is practising the combination on a paint mule, or some part of a kit that doesn't matter to you. That way, you can assure yourself that it will be OK on the final model (or not, as the case may be). Kev
