Barry
Nice work Tom. I have to ask, what is the purpose of the upside down water bottles on the aerial? I may be wrong but it appears to be a unique application that I've only seen on Canadian tanks. It also appears that 3 bottles serves the purpose, what ever it is. thierry laurent
Out of my memory, they put chemical glowing lights in the bottles. I guess the idea was to have a kind of ID system visible at night. Uncarina
Barry
Thanks Thierry! Chem lights, would have never thought of that. Barry
Uncarina
Barry, the Bundeswehr in Afghanistan did this as well. Cheers, Tom
scvrobeson
Yup, glow sticks for night convoy work. The empty water bottles amplify the light, and when they're all in the same area of the tank, they can stay in formations. Matt
