Yokosuka K5Y Willow reference?

Thanks Ray.  I’m trying to pack two kits into one every box box and hopefully reduce what I need to ship back to the states.  Looking for the reference in a small apartment should be easy.  (One would think)!  

 

 The Willow reference is awesome isn’t it?   There are a couple really cool schemes in that book which need to be built.  Nothing says camouflage and an all orange bi-plane with OD green wavy stripes in trying to hide it.  Classic.

I think that is right. There is only one Willow out there! It is a pretty nice kit, too, for its age!

I must have build the Nitto Willow at least three different times in my youth.  As Ray mentioned above it was a nice kit in the day.   The fly wires were included, pilots, crew, float version, etc.  Who can say they have an orange bi plane in their collection?

I like the one on floats, so may have to consider eventually adding that to my stash.
