Thomas Lund
Was in doubt if this is the right sub-forum. Sorry if it's not BloorwestSiR
BloorwestSiR
For Toronto, there's Wheels and Wings Hobbies. They're pretty much a full service hobby shop with a great selection of kits, aftermarket, supplies and reference materials. http://www.wheelswingshobbies.com/ They've got a basement area with older kits. I'm still waiting for their new website which will allow them to finally list a 10,000 kit collection they bought last year. Thomas, let me know when you're around and I can possibly meet you there. Forgot to mention that it's also readily accessible by public transit. It's a 5-10 minute walk from Woodbine subway station.

Thomas Lund
Wow - Wheels and wings looks like an impressive shop !! Carl - that could be REAL fun. I'm on a business trip so I'm not in complete control of my own time, so it might be with very short notice. We'll be driving up to Toronto from Waynesboro, Maryland on thursday the 22nd, meeting customers on the morning of the 23rd and moving on to Montreal on the 24th. It seems to me that the afternoon on the 23rd or possibly the morning of the 24th is the best bet... Will be in Montreal for a conference until friday the 30th so I might have time to check the Montreal shops out. Is Udisco the one to pick out of those 3 ? dustiepal
Wheels and Wings is by far the best hobby shops around if not one of the best in North America. The staff are great and the selection is second to none. They also have a fantastic selection of paint and supplies.
