This will be the first time 2 of the same WW1 kits are are announced simultaneously. Both will be high quality. Interesting times... esarmstrong
^^ Speaking of high quality, everyone here should look at the latest two (2) CAD shots from Copper State's facebook page that are in the Copper State thread on this site about the Hansa Brandenburg D.1. As with their Nieuport 17 kits, these images forecast an impressive model... Alburymodeler and Pup7309

The coffin seems to be a standard fit on HB C.1, HB C.1, and Lloyd C.V, and Oeffag C.2 types. I would like the Lloyd mostly as it has a wonderful swallow shaped plywood wing. The HB C1 comes in second as it sometimes had the wonderful built up turret thingy. Pup7309 and Tnarg

Yes could be one of these 2 seaters. Wow learning more about different types of Austrian planes!

AlbertD
Do they always tease like this? It's kinda fun seeing something come together bit by bit. Maybe a little insight into the kit development world. Pup7309 and Out2gtcha
Out2gtcha
I think this is the first we've seen of this type of "teaser" release style from WnW? So looks like D.1, or a C.1? Pup7309

So looks like D.1, or a C.1? Yes it’s clever and fun for us! Not sure if they are monitoring reactions or just adding. Someone else will have to answer D1 or C1. Unless of course it’s a 2 seater after all Edited August 30, 2019 by Pup7309
nichenson
The struts on the D1 appear to the be the same length. The C1 has the longer rear strut. However, it is impossible to tell from that drawing. I sincerely hope that it isn't the D1. I would rather have CSM have their share and WnW do the C1. esarmstrong, Alburymodeler and Pup7309
alan
I am more impressed with what looks like a re-design of wheel C clips as i have had many fly off into the ether on previous builds Pup7309
scvrobeson
It's going to be a Lloyd. All signs point that way from what has been shown so far. Matt Alburymodeler, Tnarg and Pup7309
