Jasta 14 addict
I'm not exactly exited about a WNW DR.I, but if they release one i would be more then happy to do a Jasta 14 DR.I like these on the 3 photo's. Regards Danny

Returning to the subject at hand, anyone who was at Chattanooga know if WNW was going to provide decals to replicate that Fokker streaked camouflage? You don't have to buy one or make a model of it. No need to piss in the punch bowl for those who do like it. As my namesake stated a few posts above, 'Peace out'. Out2gtcha
I'd like a peak at the decal choices myself
seiran01
These are the options shown on the announcement in chattanooga (must assume the usual five schemes in the kit). I’m told the schemes could change between now and release. Jasta 5 Dr.1 yummy. Fooesboy, D Bellis, AlbertD and 6 others 5
Out2gtcha
Thanks Mike! Those are some nice options indeed. I'm betting we will see a bevy of AM schemes coming out too................... AlbertD
Juggernut
Well, at least two of the four I'm looking at are currently represented on the kit marking options; Kempf and Voss... Now all I need to see is VonTutschek and the Baron's 152/17. AlbertD

I think they did supply streaked decals in one of the D.VII kits, but would have to check on that. It might make sense for them to do that, but I'll probably still paint my own, regardless. Yes they did do it on a D. VII. LSP_K2

How do you pant this camo? I would think it would have to be done by hand which (at least in my case) would lead to brush marks. Gazzas
seiran01
I won’t be surprised if they do provide (will ask R shortly) but I very very highly doubt they’ll surpass what aviattic has already produced Gazzas, kalashnikov-47 and coogrfan

Brush marks are easily avoided using this method (mostly), and look just like the real deal. The very nature of the application methods on the real aircraft, also showed brush marks anyway. Yeah but there is a big difference in appearance between brush marks on the real thing and brush marks on a 32nd scale model. Personally, I'd be hard pressed to hand paint this without leaving brushmarks that would be a scale 2" tall. Thankfully, there are more than a few D.I's that were completely over-painted, and I'm pretty sure that if WNW doesn't include any of those examples, the aftermarket folks will have me covered. Gazzas
So, if one is doing that all-red Fokker of MVR, doesn't the streaky green have to be under the red, but visible?
