Tamiya 1/48 Mosquito fund raiser

Lee, thats something I had not thought of mate.

 

I would be terrified of it getting damaged in transit, more so overseas.  But maybe that might be a better way of raising some more funds for the restoration team.  It will come with a piece of fabric off the actual plane as well.

 

Something to think about... thanks for the thought

Thanks, that's good to know. Awhile ago I purchased the Tamiya light, medium and dark grey panel line washes but have not used them yet. I also have some AK Odorless thinner which I had not considered using with the Tamiya washes. Maybe that will work in a similar fashion as the product your using, will have to play with it. I really like the way the panel lines look in the picture above.

Well the final piece of the puzzle has arrived this morning!

Should have her finished this week...I will be sad to see her go to auction, :crying: but lets hope we can make some money for the Resto boys.

So the HR339 model was revealed at RNZAF Museum Wigram today, It went down well I think.

I'll post some more later, but here is one to get you started
