Hi everyone,

I have just received this absolutely amazing exhausts for the Tamiya F-15 designed and 3D printed in South Korea.

Pictures are much better than a long talk.

Enjoy!

They are so thin that they are transparent

Wow!

Is the closed nozzle (or2?) included with the set as pictured on the cover?

I believe you can buy either the closed set or the open set judging by the sticker on the right side of the box.

We have 3 kits actually:

- This one with the pair of full after burner and the opened exhausts

- The opened exhausts alone

- The closed exhausts alone

The real thing is much beautiful than that we can see on the pics.

Where can I order 2 sets of the full open 'burners? Thanks.

Chuck

Looks like you can order direct.  However, they are $80, which is too rich for my tastes.

$45 for just the exhausts.

They are expensive because they are not "resin" parts as such. These are 3D-printed parts and you are getting them straight from the printer. In actual fact, these would be impossible to copy in resin. There are too many undercuts, too many fine parts that will simply not cast in resin.

They do look fantastic, but how do they fit? (Fit seems like it would be a simple affair, but if I'm dropping $45 - 80 I want to be sure.)

Hi,

After a quick check on the upper side of the fuselage it seams to be drop and fit.

I will check it again accurately and I will update this post accordingly.

Guys,  these are the best and you do pay for the best.  Definitely cannot be done in resin as these set have all of the pushrods in place.  I see couple of issues with the burner tube and the flame holders but all in all top shelf stuff, and you all know how I feel about F-15’s.

Six days to Chattanooga and counting down!!!!!
