Yes it's quite similar to white glue (Elmer's), tho it never dries solid.

It's useful in some instances (parts can be seperated and reassembled)

but it 'has' to be removed because it blocks all other cements.

I've found that 91% alcohol works the best.

Agreed!

yes it is quite remarkable stuff and great for mock-up work...but like Mike says it can be a bugger to remove. The instructions say it can be cleaned up with water before it sets but after it sets to use thinner or solvent to remove.

I personally believe it’s made of PFM (pure f*cking magic) material

So none of the CE bottom wing is gonna be used. I'll be using the Dragon

bottom wing parts which have gun bumps that need removing and radiator

areas that need filling. I hogged out the gun bumps and added .010" sheet

plastic inside the wings and filled that and the radiator areas with Apoxy

Sculpt. One wing I cut out an entire panel area , then realized that wasn't

necessary as it was only the bumps that needed removing.

Will be sanding smooth and scribing lines next. Fun part will be opening shell ejector ports .

The beat goes on ...

That's a nice start Mike!  Makes me wonder if Evergreen makes rectangular tube small enough for these kind of projects.

Just looked:

I can't cut a square hole to save my life.  #257 might do it.  S'pose one could use brass.   Of course raises more questions....  The size and shape of the holes themselves...

So I've been slowed down since I lost my right eye  6xWdaN8.png  ;)

I've decided to press on anyway with one and a half

eyes. The lack of depth perception improves when I

hold things closer to my eyes and use magnification.

Getting the cockpit together I decided to go with a

Yahu panel (first time) and MRP rlm 02. I think it's a

little dark so I lightened it up with some white.

I just hate sittin' around watchin' the boob toob  <_<

Some progress ...
