A lot of modelers are to some degree very particular because we know and love certain subjects, and when we see the likes of and heights of accuracy of, such things as Tamiyas F4Us, or Mossie, or most WnW kits, we know what can be achieved. Consciously or subconsciously we see things we sometimes cant un-see, and it can get in the way of building on occasion. Is that a polite way of saying some people are biased against manufacturers like Trumpeter and Hobbyboss? That's a bit of a shock. I never realised that. Cheetah11
Great news. I hope someone brings out a A-26K conversion. Iain
Alburymodeler
Was looking at that earlier, dragged out an IL-2 box for size comparison, and of the opinion that it might be 1/48. Seems just a bit too small for 1/32. Prove me wrong please. Unless the Mustang is 1/72. Edited September 27, 2019 by Alburymodeler
Iain
Indeed - size has got me scratching my head again - will dig out a Black Widow box later and get the tape measure/calculator out. Original photo I posted deffo looked like 1:32 rather than 1:48. Real aeroplane had a span of 70'... Will report back later. I'm not sure about the A-26, but the rear end of that Mustang that's just in shot is definitely 1/72 scale - it says so on the accompanying title card. Iain
In 1:32 span should be 26.25" - the B-24 box in photo is 27.25". In 1:48 span should be 17.5". Will keep an eye out for more photos - and I'm sure the scale will be confirmed now they have a model on display. Iain Alburymodeler
Alburymodeler
If the Mustang is 1/72 then I am 50/50 that the Invader could be 1/32. The earlier shot in the factory surely looked to be 1/32. Iain
Trak-Tor
I'd say number 83213 on the small A-26C plate behind the model indicates it's 1:32, as it fits right behind their Liberators (83211, 83212). Just saying... Juraj Edited September 27, 2019 by Trak-Tor typo B/A Jan_G, Iain, mpk and 1 other
Iain
Good spot Juraj! Quick and dirty photo of Monogram 1:48 A-26B fuselage overlaid on 1:32 B-24J box: Iain LSP_Kevin, Learstang, Jan_G and 1 other
Iain
As an aside - it's funny how your brain gets adjusted to scales/model sizes... A 1:48 kit to my eyes now seems soooooo small - yet, as a teenager, they were the 'biggies'! Jan_G
great news! one of the coolest looking twin of WWII now we need to hope that the final kit will be closer to P-61 or Il-2 than B-24 jan RNoAF and Martinnfb

thierry laurent
So the cat is now out of the bag! I am a little bit surprised seeing it arriving so quickly behind the B-24. At least this demonstrates the intention to go on releasing LSP and other topics than the ones that we see in the catalogue for many years. :-) Out2gtcha, Jan_G and Iain
