curiouslysophie
Sadly I did. Hopefully one day I can find a copy that doesn’t go for insane prices. nmayhew
Troy Molitor
Wow. How did I miss this one? Maybe because I’m stuck in Mumbai in the monsoon season. I’ve been here on and off since mid April. Great looking Panther by the way! Troy Uncarina
ringleheim
Looking great, Sophie! I built the 1/16 Trumpeter Panzer IV, so I can relate to your project here. These kits do have their flaws as you point out, but they really aren't bad and there isn't a lot to choose for in this scale anyway! Looking forward to seeing more of your work. curiouslysophie and Out2gtcha
dodgem37
Good show. What are you using as the primer? Thank you. Sincerely, Mark
Uncarina
Outstanding work! I really enjoy working in this scale—and your build shows just how much detail you can add. Will you be using the kit tracks, or aftermarket? Cheers, Tom

These tanks are a solid base to detail from, even though they do have their flaws. On 8/16/2019 at 8:12 AM, dodgem37 said: Good show. What are you using as the primer? Thank you. Sincerely, Mark I have been experimenting with primers to find one I like. I am currently using Alclad’s Grey Microfiller Primer, but I have some MRP primers to try next. 5 hours ago, Uncarina said: Outstanding work! Cheers, Tom I am about halfway through assembling the kit tracks which is a very long and monotonous task! I may got for a metal track set though as there are some great ones made for the RC kits in this scale. Uncarina
nmayhew
I can vouch for MRP primers, and they also come in a variety of armour colours which may be helpful for you in future German armour builds

The Alclad one isn’t too bad. It can come out a little grainy, and doesn’t smell to pleasant. It is fine for large scale armour, but for aircraft i’d prefer something a lot smoother. I guess HM Hobbies will be getting another order from me soon, lol. nmayhew
nmayhew
Better get well ventilated and think about a mask for MRP - smell lovely but obviously not good for you. Results are well worth it though.
