LSP_K2
All control surfaces now assembled and liberal amounts of surfacer applied (where required). LSP_Kevin and sandokan
LSP_K2
The kit provides P.E. bomb fin braces, but I just know that I'd botch that all up, so have opted for .010x.040 strip instead. A little premature, as I still have some more cleanup to do to the bomb itself, but I'll attach the other three once that's done. sandokan, Gazzas and LSP_Kevin
LSP_K2
I have more than adequate references, probably too much, really, especially given that I tend to not mess with details all that much these days. This is just three of those references. (Even though my books are certainly related to this hobby, I generally see them as a hobby unto themselves.) LSP_K2
Top deck gun assembly all dolled up and ready for some paint. I certainly won't spend too much time on this, as all cowl pieces will be firmly anchored in place, one way or the other. sandokan, LSP_Kevin and D.B. LSP_K2
The IP has been given a dry brushing with a slightly lighter shade of grey, to assist me when painting details. I considered using some aftermarket stuff, but have opted to just go with what the kit provides. Biggles87, D.B. LSP_K2
The engine assembly. So far, fit of these pieces has been quite excellent. MikeMaben, sandokan, Gazzas and 3 others
D.B. Andrus
Looks like a lovely kit, Kevin. I'm following your build as I have the kit, too. D.B. Martinnfb and LSP_K2

CATCplSlade
Kevin, Did you use customer support at dragonusaonline to get those replacement wheel inserts? I sorta stalled out on my build because I lost one to the DS gremlin.

The Dude
Looking good! I am working on the E-3 version off and on for the last few months too. The engine cowl and upper gun cover was fickle for me. I needed to trim some of the gun parts and then had to tack it with CA glue and then the Faller glue to get it all lined up. Other than that its been a pretty good build for me so far. So in this pic is the cowling all glued together and is the engine glued to the cowling?

From what I've heard, it's the rear cowling part (not shown) that can be a real issue with this kit. We'll just have to see what happens when the time comes.
