ericg
Built completely out of the box except EZ line and knitting in elastic rigging and scratch built seatbelt. All raised panel lines retained. All markings painted apart from small stencil and squadron logo. I love Willow Green! A couple of classic raised panel line, decades old kits built OOB Edited June 16, 2019 by ericg Stefano, red baron, Lenny320 and 16 others

Planeguy88
I'm just now building a BF2C and am wondering what color you painted the panels on the underside of the upper wing? Your build is stunning -- absolutely love the finish and hope mine will come out half as good....

From memory, I am pretty sure I painted it the same grey as the fuselage metal areas but then it looks like I have post shaded it with Gunze ‘sail colour’ or Tamiya ‘Buff’ as I just went and had a look at the model. I also took a pic of the area for you. Have taken this to a few shows and no one has tapped me on the shoulder yet and told me that I got that area wrong. Enjoy it, those old kits make beautiful models.
Lothar
Absolutely stunning, it's indeed hard to believe it's the ancient Hasegawa kit. Lothar
