Dan, yes, it is a compound table. Each wheel that adjusts X/Y axis movement is the size of a 50c piece and one revolution equals 1mm. It is an essential part of the drill press. 

 

Some more work.

 

I made up some spark plug leads and attachments from .3mm lead wire and plastic rod.

these were then attached to the spark plugs and ran down each side of the intake tubes. Only the top half of each cylinder will be visible.

I fitted brass rod for pushrods on each cylinder. There are 4 per cylinder.

I just love watching you work your magic Eric - it's my kind of modelling, take what you are given and use it as a canvas for making a miniature where most of the fun is in researching and recreating what you find
