Hi John

Great to see this build starting up again. I’m looking forward to seeing it finished as your skills are incredible.
The world sure is an interesting (to say the least) place at the moment.

Cheers Neil

Thanks Neil, true story. This one is way overdue for completion. Interesting is a very polite word compared to what I'd probably say the world is at present...

Alain, you did very well with your Cheetah C. I needed to get some build therapy to help clear my mind.

An update on the build. I used the Mirage IIIEZ fin with the corrected rudder for the Cheetah E. The entire modified tail fin will be cast as one unit, except for the rudder and the single rearward facing RWR unit.

Marcel

Thanks Marcel.

We moved recently, and what a mission. Internet not working properly yet, so I'm trying an app on my phone. Hope the images are visible...

Got some work done on the Cheetah E nose, and sprayed a coat of primer on it.

Hi Alain,

The Isracast nose has a very different shape and size. Here's a comparison of my effort at the top, then the Isracast and the CAM one at the bottom.

Hey John. My E has stalled waiting for your bits B). Your E schnozzle looks great.

Hi Malcom, glad that you like it enough to stall your build :)

I'm sure you'll enjoy the resin parts.

Thanks Alain :)

I made the mold for the nose, and cast the first one. Did a test fit, and it seems okay. The Italeri kit's forward fuselage is not glued together yet but taped together. So, it's a bit wobbly, but good enough for this purpose.
