Odd, a few months ago there were many available on Ebay, some of us thought the kit was back in production, but looks like they have all disappeared again...

The only F-16As out of the box are the old Hasegawa or Revell kits.  If you want a “modern” kit, it’s pretty much down to Academy or Tamiya.  Of the two Tamiya kits, the Thunderbirds kit is easier to convert to a F-16A.

Yes, L'Ultima Diana based on the F-16A-ADF / MLU. And the Indonesian display team in dazzling red & white. Badly needed in 1/32 scale.

I remember the days thirty-five years ago when whole USAF Wings swapped F-4s for F-16s at the rate of about one-two Wings a year — they were everywhere

And now, they've sort of disappeared from the aviation consciousness.

Not sure what you mean- are you referring to the F-4? because the F-16 is everywhere and still being built.

cheers

There used to be loads of F-4s and loads of F-4 kits, and in the middling scale there still is a trickle of new ones.

For the past four decades there have been loads of F-16s but the number of LSP kits, in particular, is pathetically small — does Tamiya hate it?

Why no skinny F-16A, B/D or even Block 60 with optional love handles?

Just mould the Thunderbirds kit in grey, put it in a plain brown box with no decals and we'll buy it.
