MDC bf 109G/K spinner

I'm currently working on Hasegawas bf109K-4 and intended to use the very nice spinner from MDC.

it seems, however, that the MDC spinner is quite undersized in diameter compared to the original Hasegawa spinner (a mere 22mm vs 23,5mm)

Is this a general  problem or is it just my spinner that has shrunk in casting? Any alternatives??

Hi and check

https://www.scalemates.com/search.php?fkSECTION[]=All&q=bf+109+k+1%2F32

there You see another Prop&Spinner AM, my favourite is of course Henri Daehne but be aware that the HAS spinner is not correctl scaled. Means undersized and HD scaled according original Spinner.

Another tip:

https://stage.revell.de/service/download-center.html

search instruction# 04702 .On page 6 section 11, you see the correction for the K version the HAS is not indicating.

So that it for the moment and sure soon the experts explain more.

I bought a few years ago when the Hasagawa Bf-109G kit was released.  The spinners were all undersized. MDC sent me replacements. It was larger problem for them at the time.  Subsequent spinners fit perfectly.  Yours could be older?  Good recommendations above.

 Hi
I hate to tell about it but I have a very nice Me-262A-2a from Trumpeter, and bought  in 2008 the MDC-RB resin set
(RB-C32001) for  the conversion to the Me-262A-2a/U2.
Some time ago I noted the  resin parts shrinkage ... sad,  it happens, because it was to be a very nice Glass Nose .

I’ve gone and bought the Henri Daehne spinner - hoping for the best....

It is a great looking set, that is for sure. I think you will like it.
