Well after a short break, I start the new project - Me 109 E-3-a.

I will use trumpeter E-4 1/32 kit with a lot of photo-etched and resin parts.

Start with the cockpit:

 

 

 

 

 

And canvased the moving parts of the tail:

Hi Brian , well this is a vinyl canvas for RC planes, of course with scale texture.

The same fabric I used for my arado project. For adhesive I use bison glue for vinyl and it works perfectly

Continue with detailing the radio-part from interior:

 

 

Also modify the rear gear and will used the resin wheel from eduard set:

 

 

Put the metal barells of MG-17's:

 

 

And start detailing the engine:

Thanks Kagemusha, it is very much like a normal 109 e-3 , but with canopy from e-4, no canopy-armor and without wing-cannons. E-3a it's a delivery number for 19 Me-109's from Germany to Royal BG Air Force /1940-41/.

Add some missing rivets of the upper part of the wings:
