hello

I'm not used to that, but I hav a second project in progress. I've been collecting and documenting VFC-12's 08 Hornet because of its weathering, and some decals have been issued recently. When waiting for some parts for my twin B&W project, I couldnt resist starting that project, which will be rather slow, though.

Cokcpit has been painted with several layers of shades with hairspray between each one of them, then a wet brush chipped the worn areas.

Thanks to Miro Medzihradsky for the negative film tip !

I'v been using Anyz' products for hoses, leg straps and knob decals on the consoles. Very good products.

That etched stencil has been issued recently by Radu Brinzan. Great product for weathering.

Thank a lot for your comments !

Yes Chuck, these are Airscale decals cut to length. Headrest decals too, they are provided on the same sheet with different seat specific markings. Some generic yellow and black stripping is provided along with markings for the top part of the handle that you just need to apply over in a second step. Super product.

That sheet, Chuck. There are even front/rear stencils for twin seaters !

Used along with individual knob decals from www.anyz.io , both sources make a good combo !

Thought so.  I used the same sheet on my Eagle a year ago and my current F-5E build and they are fantastic.  Not that we should expect anything else from Peter the Great....

Thanks,

Chuck

Amazing start! My build of the hornet has stalled due to my dog finding a part of the fuselage and 'playing' with it for a while! :BANGHEAD2:

I've managed to get a replacement from e bay, but the mojo was gone. But I'll enjoy watching this build while I have a crack at a nighthawk. Good luck!
