Jack
Anyone know any "inside" info about Italeri's "probable" release of the F35B, since this would be a logical follow-up on their "A" model?

GMK
Well, the Italian Navy operates the F-35B, so it may happen. Best case (IMO) is Hasegawa or Tamiya releases both JSDF F-35A & F-35B.
thierry laurent
Tamiya will not release the A before long as they just released a reboxing of the Italeri kit. GMK and scvrobeson
Tony T
I'm waiting for the Shizuoka show in three weeks to see if 1/, there's a new Tamiya 1/32 kit and, 2/, which Italeri kit it originates from. Might mean the Tornado GR.4 gets a look-in with two stars on the box, but an F-35B is a very remote outsider as Italeri have yet to confirm they are producing a STOVL variant. The bigger winged C is probably the best looking, but all that "transformer" moving stuff on the B, with polycaps, would make for an alterable display piece.
