Out2gtcha
No way! The 180 was a GORGEOUS aircraft. What is the actual scale here?

Hey Brian I believe it's 1/41 or 1/42 scale... (there's a bit of debate about that.) It's always been a dear subject for me. I know this was the first model I ever built when I was about 7 years old...that'd be around 1968 or so now...and still a nice kit and I agree a gorgeous aircraft...I could post some pics of my previous completions if it's of interest...? Out2gtcha
Surely! I took some really excellent shots of a really nice polished 180 we saw at the 50th running of the Reno races. I'll have to find them.

Harbour air, with help from John Winter of Harbour air, another 185 conversion patbay air again, the other side. engine removed, cowls on Out2gtcha, Jeff, rafju and 2 others

chrish
Thanks! build enough of them and you get better at it I guess. they do take a looooooot of work to lose the toy aspect and earn a more respectable presentation

Mine as well! around the same time...weird! I’m thinking of trying to make a Cessna 182 out of this one...
