I kinda felt the same way but Jimi said not to worry about it. I personally will wait till I get my hands on the SD to see about the best placement for a rod/ stand. It wouldn't be hard to drill a mounting hole in the mountain side for a 1/4 in acrylic rod... and in the movie the SD is off a bit to one side, not directly over the city. It took a bit of searching but I found that build I mentioned.. the guy scratch built a city in scale with the Zvesda kit and lit the city..
