I'm looking for a way to make it rivets well visible at NM

 

II'm preparing for both Quick Boost Engine.

The HGW rivets are very subtle, but an effective way to add surface texture and IMHO are a better way to represent flush rivets than the holes that are all the rage these days.

Man, those rivets look great..... will be using them on my FW190.

Kudos to HGW for a sweet product..... those Czech's are crafty buggers. 

 

Can we possibly get a close up of the ones that are exposed around the cowling? Did you expose them or are they added after paint?

I asked the same question on page 5, here is the reply

 

 I use Gunze Sangyo sanding grids or 3000 sanding paper.
I sanding underwater to make the rivets accentuate. They may not all be visible, nor are they visible on the real plane.
This is followed by wash, followed by decal or wet transfers

I think Miloslav must have the touch of an angel, to wet sand those rivit heads without scratching the surrounding paint and also not to pull them off the plane....amazing touch

It goes very well, but I use MRP colors.
