Aviacom
Hi, ive been asked to build an F-4C Phantom in the early USAF Air Defense Grey Scheme in Vietnam, but I’m damned if I can find any decals for such?? Any help or links to some please? Many thanks in advance.

LSP_Ray
And the MiG killer of the ONG was originally in the SEA colors I am 99% sure. I took a pic of it back then, if I could just find it...
Lee White
These are 1/48, but might help you with decal placement info. Most look pretty generic, and probably could be pieced together from spare decals. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Furball-Decals-1-48-McDONNELL-DOUGLAS-F-4C-PHANTOM-II-GRAY-PHANTOMS-IN-VIETNAM-/132164741105

Chek
The Speedhunter grey ADC decals would work, with 45" stars on the wings and a suitably sized TAC winged badge on the fin. Edited March 22, 2019 by Chek
thierry laurent
Cutting edge released some in a Vietnam Phantom 1/32 decal set but this was a looooong time ago. Caracal released far more recently a postwar sheet with ANG grey birds that had essentially similar markings. You mainly need to add the TAC badge on the tail. LSP_K2
It seems like CAM did a sheet, but I can't be sure.
Tony T
I'd wait for a circa 1976 Iceland scheme. Brassin are making 1/32 AIM-4Ds this Spring, good if we can find the launch rails. There were some great Cutting Edge and Fox One decals depicting camo'd Udorn and DaNang F-4D MiGCAP jets from circa 1968-1972 with the Hughes Gerry Anderson red fireworks. Brassin also make some nice representations of the original AIM-9B lead sulphide Sidewinders. The other option is to go ANG 16473 Aircraft Gray and find an ex MiG-killer late in its life. There was a triple MiG-killer in the Oregon ANG and Caracal and Speedhunter graphics both did those types of schemes — which, as Chek pointed out, would provide a lot of the basics for an early gull gray over white bird from the early-mid-sixties if you're inflexibly commission building.
