Guest Vincent
Painting continues with the base color and the rendering of wear exposing the bare aluminium (hairspray lack method) Fargo Express was a relatively new aircraft and wear should be kept to a realistic amount. This is not a flying trashbin ! Next will be picking out of the details with their corresponding colors Edited May 17, 2019 by Vincent/MDC

It's used of course, at the time of the picture the airframe was about 6 months old but you can tell from the pictures of Lonesome polecat that they were well maintained

aircare84
Vincent, What color did you use to paint the seat body? Custom mix, or a available bottle paint? Larry Martinnfb

Larry Oil paints over Tamiya Desert yellow. First i used a lighter shade to get the "base" of the resin color then i added a darker shade to simulate the fiber structure. It's a shame that it does not show better on pictures but in reality it looks just like a real Spitfire seat
