ade rowlands
Just incredible work there. I like seeing how the kit parts can be used and have detail added to them to take them up a few levels of detail. I will certainly follow along with this build and attempt a few of the details myself when I build my IX and VIII. Martinnfb

Guest Vincent
Nice work, yes, but not applicable to the MKVIII which had a electrical layout prefigurating the griffon versions. This means that the voltage regulator is on the left side of the cockpit, together with a "proper" combined switch and fusebox. For reference, this is the IX, correctly depicted by Tamiya : So a lot must go : In order to get to this : The work on the fusebox is about half done The rear bulkhead will also need to be reworked as it was a bit different in aspect than on the MKIX Edited May 17, 2019 by Vincent/MDC

Guest Vincent
And the near finished part : Near finished because the 2 first switches are out of center and will be redone Good night everyone Vincent

Guest Vincent
Before redoing the switches i noticed that using a mk14 picture as a reference was a very bad idea. Indeed, the VIII only had 3 switches and 3 push buttons on the top of the fuse box. So i corrected my error and got the switches perfectly centered on their housing (i can now turn the pitot heater on, lol) The other area that needed work was the rear of the seat bulkhead which does not have the voltage regulator and has a very distinctive reinforced plate : Stay tuned
