Nice work, yes, but not applicable to the MKVIII which had a electrical layout prefigurating the griffon versions.

 

This means that the voltage regulator is on the left side of the cockpit, together with a "proper" combined switch and fusebox.

 

For reference, this is the IX, correctly depicted by Tamiya :

The work on the fusebox is about half done

 

The rear bulkhead will also need to be reworked as it was a bit different in aspect than on the MKIX

Before redoing the switches i noticed that using a mk14 picture as a reference was a very bad idea. Indeed, the VIII only had 3 switches and 3 push buttons on the top of the fuse box.

 

So i corrected my error and got the switches perfectly centered on their housing (i can now turn the pitot heater on, lol)

The other area that needed work was the rear of the seat bulkhead which does not have the voltage regulator and has a very distinctive reinforced plate :
