Thanks, the problem i ran into was the wash, the yellow and shark mouth on the nose is a bit dark

so from what im seing, this version of the plane did not have the wing pitot.

You’re absolutely right Neo, the D had the “L” style underwing pitot which I can see you’ve fitted. My bad!! :blush:

Catching up! That turned out nice, Neo!

Sorry to hear about the problems with the wash. I ran into a similar problem doing a wash on a KV-1 with MIG washes. While it worked great on my test piece, when I did it on the model, the paint started peeling off! I now only use Turpenoid for washes. It is a synthetic mineral spirit that is pretty mild and haven't had any problems with damaging lower layers - at least not yet!

 

Anyway, you did a good job with the repairs!
