Confusionreigns178
First of all, excellent work on this big "Grach" (I think that's "crow" in Russian - but don't quote me on that!). Just one thing.... one underwing gun-pod is pointing forward and the other pod is pointing backward. Is this intentional? I thought they were designed to point forwards? Cheers. Chris. Dukie99
Chris, Thank you for the nice words. To answer your question, it is intentional. I read in one of the reference books I used on the Su-25 that the gun pods where sometimes mounted this way to "persuade" the other side to keep its head low long enough for the aircraft to escape on a low pass. Not sure how effective that was and how this was affecting the flying but I thought it was a cool idea. Not 100% sure it is correct, but I like it. Confusionreigns178
Thanks for the reply. An interesting detail, which makes sense from a practical point-of-view. Chris.
