Daniel Leduc
Hi everyone, It's been a while since I did a quick and easy built.... had that one on the back burner, like many other models I have somewhere in my dark cave ... .. Always liked those colors on a Phantom, very different, the third one in particular... And going to use Techmod decal for it. My load should be some Cutting Edge CBU-10.... I'll put some up to date picture this week-end. Thanks for watching, Dan. Cheetah11
Hi Daniel great choice of subject. Phantoms are my all time favorite aircraft subjects. If you are like me and and also a bit of a history buff try and read the Osprey book on the Iranian Phantoms in Combat if you have not done so already. An incredible 160 plus air to air claims by the Phantoms alone. It opened my eyes to a conflict that largely took place without much knowledge and coverage in the West and inspired my 1/32 Tamiya F-4E build. Looking really forward to this build. Cockpit from the box, quick nice and easy but definitly gonna used resin seats. just a bit of dry brush and pigment and it should be just fine. Daniel Leduc
Little update on my week-end short work.... Did give a shut at the Brassin Exhaust, at $ 45 cnd from a fellow modeller, and a no brainer.. A very nicelly detail kit. the PE was too tight to get in easily.. and end up all curvy and ugly. So went back and used the kit part. and did fit like a charm. with some dry brush and pigment everything should be fine, but before, I need to repaint those petals, too dark for my taste. Yeap, really nice detail those Brassin. On another note, I made up my mind to try Vallejo paint for real, picked up those and planning to use them on a black basing technic. That'll be the fun part... Thanks for watching and have fun. Dan. Marcel111, KiwiZac, Out2gtcha and 3 others

Daniel Leduc
Here my weekd-end update, did fit a nice RHAW antenna from AMS...... weird hey..? Apperently they had four aircraft with that kind of system. It does look nice on a Phantom.. received some more goodies last Friday so I can move on with the formation light and maybe starting the paint job in a week or so... the real fun part...... Thanks for watching and have fun. Dan. Edited March 4, 2019 by Daniel Leduc Out2gtcha, daveculp, Fvdm and 7 others

I like the effect Thanks Brian, Did found some Model Master buffing metalizer to make it a few shade lighter, that should help to come out even nicer. Dan. Daniel Leduc
A very quick update guys, On the first color I noticed that keeping my black fadding was going be a challenge with that product, even when thinned close to 50/50 with their own thinner, couldn't get the fine layers I used to have with Tamiya or Model Master. The result on the 2sd color confirm me that I shouldn't go on with the rest, it was worst..... So decided to stop it right there and thank god, it was acrylic.... very easy to take off with amonia glass cleaner. and the big black spot in the middle is my thumb print I left after I cleaned up my airbrush.... another things to fix.... It took me an hour to clean my mess and restart again, Yippiiiiii, Next time trust me, I'll practice on scrap when switching media. So this time, I decided to go with those Model Master.... Sorry guys for the mishap but it's part of the game more often than I wish for.... Thanks for watching and have fun Dan. Ive just gotten done with some painting of my own, and it even went exactly like I wanted and Im still not happy with it. It just goes to show that even the best laid plans and all. Looking forward to the repaint. Daniel Leduc
