That is a very big project and will take some time, perhaps 3-4 weeks. Then comes a station for the Mk.X. How goes the progress? Model_Monkey
Hi D, Sorry for the delay. I've been consumed with a couple big commission projects. I will complete the observer's station and torpedo soon along with 1/24 scale P-51D Mustang wheel wells for the classic Airfix kit. Thanks for your patience! Artful69
This stuff is awesome! ... Now if only you could complete a clear rear canopy with the appropriate rear defence equip, some decent MLG ... and the porcupine exhausts that are becoming rather scarce from the AM manufacturers now ... Just kidding ... Really, really nice work! Rog Model_Monkey
1to1scale
I am waiting on the rear cockpit to before I start my beau. Model_Monkey

Model_Monkey
Nearly complete, wheel wells for classic 1/24 scale Airfix P-51D / P-51K / Mustang Mk.IV kits will be released shortly. The test piece below is being tweaked for better fit and significantly further detailed. The design benefited from scans of original North American Aviation blueprints. The model's aft spar is set at the proper angle to help the modeler correct the Airfix kit's wing dihedral, which is molded too flat. D.B. R Palimaka
That will save so much time and effort! Thank you so much, you've corrected two of the worst problems with the Airfix Mustang. No, that's not a tear running down my cheek... Artful69
Again ... REALLY nice work ... this printing lark is really coming of age!! So many corrections /detail issues look to become minor problems with this sort of stuff employed. Rog R Palimaka and Model_Monkey
LSP_Ray
Hmmm...would this work on the Trumpeter kit, too! Model_Monkey
Model_Monkey
Thanks, fellas! Regarding fitting the 3D wells to a Trumpeter kit, I do not know if the model is a good fit for Trumpeter. The model's design was first drawn in 3D to match overall dimensions shown in NAA drawings. The model then required some dimensional adjustments to fit the Airfix kit's wing and wheel well openings. If the Trumpeter kit's wing is dimensionally different than the Airfix kit's wing, the 3D model's adjustments may make the model a poor fit for Trumpeter. Conversely, if the Trumpeter kit's wing is a good dimensional match for Airfix, this 3D model may be a good fit for Trumpeter, too. Thanks again! Edited October 1, 2019 by Model_Monkey D.B. Artful69
as a BTW ... is there any more WWII stuff you're working on or planning in 1/32 besides the Beau?? Rog Model_Monkey
Gerhard
I really need the Beaufighter cockpit for the Revell 1/32. I will go without food for a month. Edited October 1, 2019 by Gerhard Model_Monkey and D Bellis 1
Model_Monkey
Thanks again! Once the Beaufighter observer station and torpedo are done, the next big aircraft project in the design queue is a cockpit for the classic Hasegawa 1/32 scale F6F-3/5 Hellcat. No worries, Gerhard, I do ship to South Africa! D Bellis, D.B. Andrus, Fanes and 3 others
