Tolga ULGUR
Hi all, I would like to confirm which P&W engine was used on P-47D 25, 26, 27 and D28. Are they the same engine used on D30? The following configuration is correct for these versions? (Type of magnetos etc) I am preparing to 1/32 Gabreski's D25 . Thanks in advance BiggTim

Juggernut
All P-47D-25 through P-47D-40 (bubbletops) used the Pratt & Whitney R-2800-59 B series engine with the GE (General Electric) ignition system. Warbird
Hi, Yes, the first photo shows the correct magnetos for Gabreski's D25. I built it few years ago: https://forum.largescaleplanes.com/index.php?/topic/53495-132-hasegawa-p-47d-in-gabreskis-markings/ Cheers

Below is a representation (if not the actual engine) of the correct engine for the P-47D-25 through P-47D-40 Rick Griewski
