Gazzas
HI everyone, About half a year ago I started noticing a builder at the Kitmaker network who was working with very interesting filters on armor models. So, this is my first go at being bold with filters. I'm at a point where I'm not sure what to do next other than detail painting, dry brushing, touch-up, and adding a matte coat before I turn to with more snow. Any ideas? Thanks for looking! themongoose
I like the rust affect around the rough cast parts like the rear turret and the pea shooter. Is that the affect from the filters?

Is that the affect from the filters? Thank you! It is the effect of the filters, though the back of the turret was mostly from the turret falling from my hands right onto the pallet. It wasn't meant to be rust, just a shade changer. Gaz
mustang1989
Your technique looks to have paid off in full Gaz. Gazzas
Gazzas
Thank you Joe! The trick is for it to look right after the matte coat. It always seems to cause a big change. Gaz
Gazzas
Hi everyone, With the weathering done, it's time to call this one complete. I did my best to keep the color modulation and weathering subtle. Thank you for looking! Gaz Alain Gadbois and Hardcore
