F-16 ADF

Did anyone ever do a vertical for the ADF birds? Who did it where can I find 1?

PWMP made the part but he doesn't have a website since selling his shop.

EDIT: Found this from the man himself, from a few years ago...

 

gentlemen,

let you know that this tailbase is now available at 1/32. the set includes the tailbase,upper antennas, lower antennas, and the piece with the searchlight on the left side. also included a smaller tailfin for the top of the tail. it all fits perfectly with the tamiya thunderbird kit.

Have ordered before from PWMP, received my resin parts and I have to say, they look good.  He's easy to deal with, and you should have no worries.

Cutting Edge did the conversion as well, but for the old Hasegawa kit.

The fin base for the ADF was an "A" model; so starting with a "C" fin base is a bit more challenging that you describe.

My only concern would be getting good symmetry on both sides of the aircraft, but overall, that looks pretty doable to me as a scratch build project.

I started this conversion several years ago, but stopped when another company was doing them.

 

I just found one of the early mock-ups in a box. I have refined the base bulge and the fin, along with the antenna, HOWEVER I have no clue where the masters or the molds are right now.
