D.B. Andrus
You're doing excellent work here, Johnie. Thank you for putting all of this time in. It's a true labor of love and many of us appreciate that. Cheers, D.B.
johnie hopper
The large repeater I've created according to Fl.23335. If there was used another type (like Fl.23338 or Fl.23339) please confirm. Usual voltage indicator was Fl.32500 with diameter 57mm. An only smaller one which I know is Fl.32510 with diameter 42 mm, it should be mounted tohether with Fl.32511-1/2 (with holes pitch 55 x 37 mm) as you said from behind. Probably it was this one. I've changed the variometer shape to rectangular. I will probably create some "místy box" to be placed on right back pilot's wall. Actual look: https://johniehopper.rajce.idnes.cz/Me-262_3D#15.jpg https://johniehopper.rajce.idnes.cz/Me-262_3D#16.jpg And here's one more item, some quiz? :-) https://johniehopper.rajce.idnes.cz/Me-262_3D#20.jpg
VintageEagle
It was the Fl 23338 compass. The casing if the Variometer was completely rectangular. I think yours is not yet. Yes it was the 32510 with the mounting plate attached from behind. One additional thing I noticed: the 4 holes for the canon indicators underneath the SZKK2 are not yet there. They were present even if not used. Looks like a map box?
johnie hopper
Fl 23338 installed Variometer shape repaired 4 holes drilled :-) Nope, that's "Sanitätstasche für flugzuege" S 10011 hanged on "Halterung" Fl 30523 :-) https://johniehopper.rajce.idnes.cz/Me-262_3D#17.jpg https://johniehopper.rajce.idnes.cz/Me-262_3D#18.jpg J.H. LSP_Ray
Amazing CAD work, John! We are going to have to create a new acronym for people like you: ACAMS - Advanced Computer Aided Modeling Syndrome! I know how much work this involves; I have done a little CAD, but went through Architecture school in the parallel bar and lead holder era! johnie hopper
Finally (thanks to H.-J. Kramer), I've got real measurements of Switch Fl.E 5000. I've modified dimensions of switch box for 3 switches on the operator's right side. In the picture on the left is the modified shape. https://johniehopper.rajce.idnes.cz/Me-262_3D#22.jpg Now I would be able to make and to rig both types of a large switch box from pilot's right panel. I'm not sure if they are demanded by you and what more, I don't have the exact general dimensions of this box (pic 23). https://johniehopper.rajce.idnes.cz/Me-262_3D#23.jpg

I can recognize First Aid set holder but there is something on the partition wall. https://johniehopper.rajce.idnes.cz/Me-262_3D/#03.jpg Does anyone know what it could be. I guess it could be next part of K22 K23 "autopilot" system. After close look and few minutes of searching I've decided that it definitely had to be "Aufbauverteiler" Fl.32658 How tiny it will be in model 1/32 you can see here: https://johniehopper.rajce.idnes.cz/Me-262_3D#24.jpg
LSP_Ray
Yikes! Wonder how something that small will print! You are going to amazing detail, Johnie!
johnie hopper
Does anyone have publication "Me 262 two seat variants" from 4+? There should be more photos from B1 variants.

johnie hopper
As I've prepared Set02 for rear seat cockpit of night version B1a/U1 (I'll call it Set02a since now) I'm preparing Set02b for rear seat cockpit of trainer version B1a. There's not much to add except second KG13, second seat and rudder pedals and all three/four instrument panels as you can see in the pictures below. By these three sets (Set01 - A1 + front B1, Set02a - rear and partly front B1a/U1, Set02b - rear B1a) should be cockpit issues solved (still thinking about rudder pedals mechanism/levers, which I didn't see made properly in any model). Let's go to inner rear fuselage ittems... Kagemusha
There's a really useful build of the B1a trainer here, the images contained are the same as the 4+ book. MikeMaben
johnie hopper
Thanks to one photo somewhere in this forum I've gotten an idea about set04. It could contain Jumo inlet and outlet section with correct depth and shape. https://johniehopper.rajce.idnes.cz/Me-262_3D#St04_pic01.jpg https://johniehopper.rajce.idnes.cz/Me-262_3D#St04_pic02.jpg https://johniehopper.rajce.idnes.cz/Me-262_3D#St04_pic03.jpg https://johniehopper.rajce.idnes.cz/Me-262_3D#St04_pic04.jpg Edited March 5, 2019 by johnie hopper D.B. nmayhew
Great thread! I am interested in 2 seat variants that were not nightfighters, or at least didn’t have the radar arrivals attached. i think there were trainers? seem to remember something about the only one left being in South Africa (might be nonsense sorry!) anyway, that’s the variant I would like to model and would have interest in... anyone know now what parts might be appropriate for this?
