If I might offer a suggestion, I'd sand them slightly to make the demarcation edges a bit more subtle and less abrupt. Cheers, Chuck Thanks Chuck..ya I'm changing it now..didn't like the look of it either...no worries. Martinnfb and chuck540z3

williamj
Brass fasteners on the Mk XIVe ...Peter inspired idea. Attaching them with a drop of clear lacquer then using needle point tweezers drop into place and adjust. real time vampire. This Spit I'm building clean.. as a modern restored bird..static display kind of thing. Cheers for now. BloorwestSiR
They're looking really fantastic William. Is the Warbirds conversion the same as the RB one for the PCM Spitfire? I used the RB nose on a Tamiya VIII and that was quite the challenge. Carl williamj and Martinnfb

Carl Thanks Carl..think the one I used might have been the same one...but it didn't fit worth a damn..had to re-shape it and re-cast it.Might have been for the old Revell kit. BloorwestSiR
Sounds about right. It was much wider than the Tamiya fuselage and more square as I recall. I had a hard time getting it to work but your builds make it look like a walk in the park. Martinnfb and williamj

Kagemusha
Looks lovely - as only a Spitfire can - very nice finish too, will make a refreshing change to the familiar beat up look. Martinnfb and williamj
