machine_marty
First go at a group build here on LSP. My entry is the rather large HK B-25H Mitchell. I started this late 2018 but it's only just started so suitable for this GB. Looking forward to this - got a few after market items; Eduard Brassin wheels Eduard fabric seatbelts Eduard interior etch I'll post pics as soon as figure out how to Martin Edited January 3, 2019 by machine_marty Added pics LSP_Ray, jan p, Model_Monkey and 13 others

machine_marty
Small, and long overdue, update; I've been busy cleaning up a lot of parts, namely the bomb load, bomb bay, engine parts and undercarriage bays/engine nacelles. I decided to glue one pair of bays/nacelles together to check the fit etc. All seems to be ok, but that join line needs careful filling, sanding and rescribing/rivetting. So here below is the outcome of that. Hopefully I've got the lines rescribed in the correct place - i.e I'm assuming the undercarriage doors go back as far as past those bulges at the back..? guitarlute101, Out2gtcha, BradG and 1 other
BloorwestSiR
Nice start to your build. I've got two of these cluttering my workbench so I know you'll be looking forward to some fun building. For the MLG gear doors, they go past the bump in the nacelles. Someone else asked the same question so I put a wash on one of mine to show him the door outlines. Hopefully it'll help you out as well. machine_marty
A few updates here. Got time to work on the internal details. I'm a bit suprised at how little there is in the kit, with detail levels being on a par with 1:48, and not 1:32. I had the Eduard etch set for the tail/upper gun sections so decided to use what I thought would be an improvement. However, for the cockpit I'm leaving this out of the box (with an exception of fabric seatbelts). All is in primer now so next post will be post painting. Apologies for the poor pics. BloorwestSiR
Some nice progress there Martin. You're correct in that once the fuselage is closed up, you won't see much of it interior. Carl Out2gtcha and machine_marty
Out2gtcha
Some good progress there! It really is s nice kit, but needs a few scant things like brass undercarriage, props and wheels. Looking forward to more! machine_marty
