machine_marty
Good choice Ryan, I have the B25H on the bench for this group build so will be interested to compare notes on how you tackle this beast. I'll be starting my thread off as soon as I find a suitable online photo upload/sharing site. Martin BloorwestSiR
Ryan
Good deal Martin, may I suggest Flickr? Just click on one of my pics and it will take you to my photo stream and the site. I like it because I can upload pics right from my phone via the Flickr app. its also easy to use. Ryan

Ryan
To others that have built this kit OOB, are the metal gear sets a must for this kit, or will the plastic stems do the job? Ryan BloorwestSiR

Ryan I would say the nose gear definitely but since you can only get them as a set, might as well use them all. One reason for this is the nose gear goes in early on in the assembly and with it being metal, it's less likely to be snapped off. Ryan The finished build is quite heavy, with the added nose weight. I drilled mine and reinforced them with 1.5 mm brass wire, it seems to have done the job! Haven't had any issues with the landing gear... Cheers: Kent Ryan

Ryan
Here are some sub assemblies I managed to stick together. Generally I like to put as much together as I can before painting. B-25J by The 3rd Placer, on Flickr B-25J by The 3rd Placer, on Flickr I found the whole rear gunner station could be built without the machine guns and they could be slipped on after detail painting the parts. Simply cut off the pins as shown below. B-25J by The 3rd Placer, on Flickr The forward upper turret station and pedestal were also completed....that seat looks uncomfortable.
