Thanks again boys!

I have to admit I kinda ran out of steam at the end of this one. I had some other grandiose plans for the Fräu·lein but I petered out at the end here a bit and lost motivation to do much except finish her.

I have however gotten a bit of a MoJo lift on this one since I started putting all the final bits on her, as she is coming together about as well as I could have asked for. The most difficult things to do (see here difficult out of the stuff I have left to do)  like the radio antenna cone,  radio antenna ceramic insulator and vertical fin attachment for it, are done, so very minor stuff like gluing in the flying surfaces, canopy and canopy restraint wire are left.

I still have to glue on the X-4s permanently, but will wait until all the flying surfaces are glued on before attaching those.

Brian,

Sorry been on work travel for a few weeks.  The progress is amazing and this is a fantastic build!  Love the weathering on this huge bird and you have really done it up right - wow and where can I see it in-person?  If I remember correctly you are not going to be in Chattanooga?

Still watching!  Chris

Im calling this one FIN!

This one was a lot of fun and the fit was excellent. Keeping in mind the scheme is complete fiction of my own design, and that the weathering is a bit heavier than I would normally make it, but the situation seemed right for it, so here we are.

Also bear in mind the lights in my photo booth have already been confirmed to make the RLM 79 quite a bit lighter looking than it actually is.

This one is a bit pic heavy, so stay with me! Without further stalling for time here is Marseille's Do-335 A-2/Trop - Yellow 14:

And some final shots with the umbrella. The umbrella turned out well, but it sort of spoils the pretty (IMHO) lines of the aircraft a bit:

One of my favorite pics that came out for one last final glamour shot............
