Working on the internals, starboardside cockpit done. Made the sidewalls behind the cockpit to cover the area to the observers place. I know most of it will not be visible but I know it is there. Ran out of ribbing material...

IP done with a little help from Airscale. Used all references I could get. Maybe not all that accurate but with some paint on it, it might just look right.

Starboard side console done

Made a start with the floor, all out of Evergreen card.

Also made a start with the landing gear. Filled the ejectionmarks and hollowed the wheelhubs.

The bench is the usual mess...

Hope you like it.

Beautiful.  I wish there was a new tool beaufighter because I'd love to build the plane, but know I can't scratch build like you're doing.

Cheers

Looking good, I really like these old kits, built quite a few in my time but alas the Beaufighter beat me, I started to build a new interior but in the end it went into the "Too Hard" box and is now in the loft.

I know that there are after market parts out there now but I would prefer a new tool, who knows if and when one will arrive, but with 200 kits in the loft I have enough to get on with.

Cheers

Dennis

Slowly it comes together now. I am quite happy the way it turns out so far.

This is looking rather good. I know the kit gets a poor press, you can tell from the very cheap prices the kits available for, but is it that bad? Is there much AM out there for it? It's one cool looking aeroplane, the work on this one is very good indeed.
