Right. Those will be added to my collection along with the new P-51 volume.

These days, with the tremendous interest in 1:32 WW1 aviation modeling, it may not be so esoteric any more. However, if it is, I wonder if the unique subject matter might have an appeal all of its own? Certainly the quality of the work and the beauty of the aircraft (subjective I know) makes me think that it could be a popular title in the catalog.

I can certainly run it by Kent and see what he thinks!

Good! I hope it comes to fruition. A very fine volume it would make for sure.

Thank you for your interest in this 'adventure' into the Aeromarine's.

Right now I'm just focusing on getting on with the build, which will probably be dragging along for many months ahead...

I think Kevin is right, this build is way off the beaten track, even to my own liking at times.

Maybe I should consider doing a book myself, if the interest still is there when the build is done. Lets see how it all pans out...

Cheers: Kent

The 'Ninak' Liberty Engine exhaust has been put straight into the mold

I will need another four for the two Liberty Engines.

The 'Ninak' Exhaust looks to be an almost exact match to the ones fitted on the Aeromarine...

  • 1 month later...

Thanks for the interest Gent's, but don't worry, it's just that I wanted to finish the Arado diorama for Kevin and the skeletal Fokker before AROS in three weeks time.

Then I will be back full time on the Aeromarine, in fact I can't wait to get back at it!

So, as promised I'm returning to this build after finishing the Arado dio & Fokker Dr. I skeletal...

Picking up where I left, with the Liberty engines.

Adding the carburetors and ignition cables.

'Better luck next time'...

The 'Ninak' exhausts - 'rusty' version...

I will be adding more details to the engines later.

Next I will be concentrating on converting the engine mounts and the Liberty radiators of the Aeromarine.
