well done on that wood grain!

Are you going to gloss it up a bit or was the actual finish satin?

I think the mahogany panels were glossy? But I hate glossy, I'm really not sure what to do...

Stupendous on such a large scale. Going to look nice when you peek through the windows to catch sight of a Flapper!

Well Flappers or not, next up are the dreaded wicker chairs and roller blinds....

quite breathtaking Kent - simply the best conversion I have seen

I too love the civilianisation of military airframes, just like that Lancastrian we talked about :)

Thank you Peter, appreciate it. And I haven't forgotten our 'deal'.

I've been pursuing this 'theme' of 'civilized' Aeroplanes for a while now and this is the first 100% civilian project, of hopefully many more to come...

I just mean when a model is high gloss it tends to look more toy-like. Reducing the gloss gives a more realistic look. So satin or semi-gloss in 1/32nd does well to represent a high gloss.

That is interesting Ray, maybe that is why I hate the glossy appearance.

I have a similar idea with colors. I find most paints to be 'too much' when used straight out of the bottle.

It may be the right color compared to the original, but used on models they become toy-like?
