Rigging done. Man that was a lot of threading!!!  Went very well though, no 'incidents' or 'accidents'.  I made the wings detachable, that made it all a lot easier.

I really can't believe that I'm almost finished with the Aeromarine build, I'm so proud of 'her'.

Cheers: Kent

Superb work, Kent!

Are you saying the top wings are detachable?

I guess you can't remove all the wings with the rigging on, can you?

I had the same question as Juraj. Surely you can no longer easily detach the wings now that the rigging is in place.

We need some clarity. My assumption is each pair of wings separates from the cabane and central part of the wing. That way you could rig the cabane and centre, and each wing pair separately

@kkarlsen??

But there's also rigging going from the outer wings to the forward fuselage and tailplanes, so I can't see an obvious way that you could detach the wings without messing that up.

Having rigged my DH.2 in stages, any simplicity you can create helps. So, no - you can't put all the rigging wires in place. You could rig the bays of the wings though

And I'm guessing - only Kent knows @kkarlsen?

Thank you guy's for your kind comments.

This has been fun... here is the solution to 'the mystery of the 'detachable' wings':

The six wires that hold the wings in place are only fitted with a hook-like turnbuckle ending...

Much like the real thing, Aeromarines stowed for winter.

Cheers: Kent
