Erwin
Hi all, I shall build the old Revell 110 G-4 as "dayfighter" by not using the antenna's. Not a correct version ,I know. But it's all about the "overall look" for me. Edited January 12, 2019 by Erwin kkarlsen, Iain, Daniel460 and 4 others
mozart
It could be correct Erwin, Martin Drewes had both a day (sans antennae) and night version of his Bf110! Erwin and Kagemusha
Thomas Lund
Pretty sure the G was used as a day fighter too, so no worries Erwin
Iain
Look forward to it Erwin - as others' have said, not all were night fighters! I'll check my refs as I might be able to help with schemes Iain

I intend to do something I've never done before that leaves only the national insignia visible. Erwin
First start. Parts cleaning and joining the wings to the fuselage with small screws to get a firm fix. This is a simple kit.So building it won't take months to do. Edited January 2, 2019 by Erwin AlexM, Alain Gadbois, BradG and 2 others
Erwin
The main build is done. The fit wasn't that bad for an oldie. Some filler needed. Not that much. Still more work on the LG,cockpit and clear parts. My next Me 110 (new Revell) will take longer to build. Already primed with yellow identifications. Erwin
The final paint work will cover all. So it does't really matter which colour I used.I could have used dark green too.. And it didn't even have to be perfect. This is a mix of 50/50% matt and satin dark grey.Painted by brush. The underside will be the usual light blue. Erwin
Anno October 1943. Luftwaffe directive nr 256: All aircraft on the Eastern front must be painted overall white,by whatever sort of paint and tools available. The balkenkreuzen, swastika's and yellow identifications are to be left unpainted. Erwin
Hi all, I'm calling this one finished. It wasn't my intention to make this build so fast to be first in the gallery. It's a simple kit ,and I have a lot of spare time. "I'm not a fast builder.I buy kits that don't take long to build". I painted the white by fine brush and imagined myself to be the ground crew with a bucket of white wash and a broom to get the job done in the field.
