LSP_K2
Since I'm currently updating this kit in the database, I thought I'd go ahead and throw in this image, to be used as a thumbnail for the corresponding article. denders, Out2gtcha, chaos07 and 10 others

DefinitelyKenny
I made a start on the Bubbletop version of this kit. I'm really glad that someone else is taking one on at the same time! I've started with the engine, ducting and cowling. Inaccuracies all over shop. The engineering is so solid that I had to question myself quite heavily. Kinetic (well...Vintage) appear absolutely CERTAIN that the engine should be built wonky.

Other parts just seemed like they weren't engineered enough or were just left unfinished like the tail wheel mounting. Everything else seemed to go back to the original VFS kit. Most of the engine accessory compartment can be left out but trying to mount the engine in in the rings and then attach the cowling was a frustrating process. I apologize for the low light in the shots. One of these days I'll get some good photos submitted for the gallery. just to avoid in your build..., in these pics the armament door panels are put on the wrong(opposite) way,the should be attached on the other-back-side of the well and looking forward 'don t know if it s due to wrong instructions or the builder s carelessnes

As to the Zotz sheet (24002, I assume), I might be able to use some parts, not real sure yet. What scheme from the sheet have you chosen? simply to avoid wear and any kind of damage to the bombs and also to be able to roll for moving them

TimW
Nice work! It's an impressive kit when finished, though I found some questionable directions/fit involving the engine section. Fortunately you can't see them once it's together! Tim W. zerosystem
LSP_K2
I received some replacement bombs for this effort a couple of days ago. To me, they have a much better overall shape than what's provided with the kit. Thanks a bunch, Richard, I really do appreciate it. chaos07, Fvdm, HB252 and 4 others

LSP_K2
Torn over what to work on, I've decided to resurrect this bad boy. I had debated articulating the elevators, but ultimately decided against it, so I’ve just gone ahead and slammed them together. chaos07, Victor K2, Greg W and 3 others
LSP_K2
I'd already done some engine work that I'd completely forgotten about. How much I'll enhance this, is an unknown at this point, but probably not much. Sorry about the cheesy photos. LSP_K2
Engine assembly, as far as I intend to take it anyway, is more or less finished. After I spray the reduction housing, I’ll proceed with some subtle (I hope) weathering of the remainder, just to add some character.
