BloorwestSiR
Happy New Year everyone! Since my B-25s are well over the 25% threshold, I'm going to try this kit. I've got a bit of AM for it but I'm leaning towards a more OOB build. I'll use the belts and brass gun barrels but not sure on the rest yet. BloorwestSiR
I managed to get a start on the kit. I'm using the correction data that was posted on Hyperscale shortly after the kit first came out. It seems most of it is related to the engines and MLG bays so I started there. Hopefully I'll get the other side down next. Carl florin13, mozart, LSP_Kevin and 4 others
dennismcc
Will be interested to see how this one goes as the Revell list for 2019 includes one of these and is seriously tempting me. Cheers Dennis BloorwestSiR and Erwin
Thomas Lund
Lovely !! I've got one in the stack as well, so I'll be keeping an eye on what you do :-) What scheme are you going for ? BloorwestSiR
Iain
Lovely Carl - I have this in the stash (always loved those markings!) - any idea what scheme you'll go for? Iain BloorwestSiR

Cheers Dennis So far, the assembly is going nicely. The parts fit very well and the seam cleanup is straightforward too. The instructions are full of errors. Brett Green did a corrections list a while ago but I think I'm finding stuff not mentioned on it. They're fairly logical but could still catch you out. 16 hours ago, Iain (32SIG) said: Lovely Carl - I have this in the stash (always loved those markings!) - any idea what scheme you'll go for? At the moment I'm looking at a couple schemes. First option is this one: It's actually an Email but if I go this way, I'll snag the requisite parts out of an E kit I have in the stash. This is the second choice. I may just go with this as I can do it OOB and I have decals for it. monthebiff
N8ce project Carl, the Dragon kit is really nice to build but one major point to be aware of is the clear canopy mould8ngs are super super brittle and will crack if you don't take the utmost care!! BloorwestSiR
Got a bit more done. Both engines are together now. Fit was good and since the cowls will be closed, the detail is fine for my needs. I then built both MLG legs and the gear bays. I've left off so e of the gear bay details until I get the primary colour down. Gazzas, florin13, BradG and 1 other
