And make sure there are no kiddos around or you're on a work computer. Stormer, PhilB, nmayhew and 1 other 1

Hence my reference to [Danish Carlsberg] Special Brew - or maybe you just export it and don't drink it! I still fail to understand the connection or joke, beyond juvenile puerile humour. But I'll have a glass of what you've been boozing then maybe it might make sense. Cheers Tony Lee White
PhilB
How about this for a suggestion? A new topic on B24 fixes and aftermarket? The new brass U/C inserts are coming out, Iain has identified the am B17 wheels are good to go and things on here are just getting tetchy with sense of humour failures and dissecting the merits of various manufacturers. I think this one has gone stale and we need a new, fresh start for those building the kit which is now far more relevant. Oh yes, I didn't need to google it...................ooops. LSP_Mike
Ali, are you the first out of the gate with AM parts for the B-24? Out2gtcha
Out2gtcha
I think Squadron may have been first up with their resin wheel replacement AM. Both wheels and brass legs I think will be necessary on this bad boy (among other things of course).
Dave Williams
Aside from getting stronger gear and wheels, has anyone figured out where they are going to put the necessary weight to set it on its gear? I’d almost rather do it gear up hanging from the ceiling and avoid the issues altogether. Also get to extend the ball turret that way. jimbo and Out2gtcha
Ryan
Good point Dave. I have often thought of how to display these new larger kits. Is it going to be more acceptable to modelers to hang projects as apposed to storing in a case? There is the dust issue, the stress on the components, and just the way they are hung to look professional. Museums hang full scale aircraft, why couldn't we in a way that looks good. The main landing gear tires are to big to fit in the wheel wells and after market resin tires are weighted (they have a flat spot) so that might not work.
