the Attacker look too much like that silly Gloster jet prototype thingy (I'm not even going to google its proper name it looks so crap)

Actually it's more elegant than you think, when I was drawing it up and after my second visit I noticed that from a distance the fuselage was a bit more slender than the drawings I was using were and discovered that the drawings in almost every publication has the fuselage cross section 6 inches bigger in diameter than it should be, at about that time I had an original to work from which confirmed it. The thing to remember is that all the bits that we all like about the later Spitfires are all Joe Smith, the pointed tail,Griffon cowling, Mk21 wings etc and the Attacker fuselage layout with the ducts each side of the fuselage was new and many commented at the time that they look like 'Elephants ears'!

Interesting you are / were considering the Sea Vixen

my suggestion: do it without the engines to keep costs down, or maybe do one  option without them and one with (not sure how feasible that is?)

brings the cost down and will draw a lot more people into the playground
